What are the responsibilities and job description for the STUDENT POSITION : SPRING 2025 - TEACHER'S ASSISTANT / COMPUTING, ANALYTICS & MATHEMATICS position at University of Northwestern St Paul?
To assist departmental faculty in a variety of office and classroom-related tasks.
- Grade, record and provide feedback on assignments, quizzes, papers and exams.
- Maintain course Moodle site.
- Assist with lesson and classroom activities including small group activities.
- Assist with student access and use of technology.
- Keep up with course content and technology use.
- Be available for students to ask questions about course content and expectations.
- Provide assistance for instructor so that activities and grading are better facilitated and improved.
- Prepare jobs for the print center and make copies.
- Assist with a variety of office tasks.
- Assist students as requested.
- Be familiar with and work within the parameters of all FERPA regulations.

- Student must be in at least the second year of computer science classes
- Able to maintain confidential information and abide by all FERPA regulations
- Must be organized and detail oriented
- Able to interact with a variety of individuals in a professional, tactful and courteous manner
- Must have basic computer skills and e-mail knowledge
- Able to work independently and take initiative
