As a member of the Notre Dame Football Equipment staff, you will have the unique opportunity to directly impact the lives of our student-athletes lives on a daily basis. This position will have oversight of the fitting and maintaining of the football protective equipment.
Main responsibilities of this role include:

Assist in servicing all aspects of the Notre Dame Football equipment room.

Outfit each student athlete with properly fitted protective equipment.

Organize and issue equipment to coaches, student-athletes and staff.

Manage the football inventory system while ensuring proper records are maintained as directed by university auditors.

Manage various vendor contacts to keep up with the needs of the equipment room.

Communicate with the Head Football equipment manager, coaches and student managers the needs for practices and games.

This position oversees the loading and unloading of the equipment trailer as necessary for home and road games, bowl games and off site practices.

Assist with the supervision and monitoring of the Student Manager Program to help conduct daily operations in the equipment room.

Maintain flexible schedule; weekends, nights, early mornings year round.

Understand and support the core values and mission of the University and Athletic Department.

This position works with moving heavy equipment from boxes to field equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree
  • 3 years experience in a football equipment room
  • Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment



Preferred Qualifications:
  • AEMA certified or working towards certification
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office as well as experience with an equipment inventory system (Front Rush preferred)
