The University of Notre Dame Operations, Events, and Safety (UOES) division is currently hiring for the position of On-Call/Temporary Driver, within the department of Center For Culinary Excellence. The UOES division leads the University's event management, hospitality, and customer service functions while supporting student life, academic endeavors, and research initiatives.
Why this position?
As a driver for Three Leaf Catering, you will be responsible for the safe delivery of products across campus, food and equipment related to Three Leaf catering events in addition to other culinary outlets and campus partners. This includes, making beverages for events, pushing and handling fragile equipment and carts, receiving goods and food, checking and storing of products in the Center for Culinary Excellence (CCE), assuring the CCE dock areas/vehicles are kept in accordance with Food Service standards of sanitation and safety. Other job duties include, clearing dock of trash, food debris, operating CCE equipment and vehicles, working in the CCE cooler, freezer, warehouse, and assisting in other Food Services areas when necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
3 to 4 years experience preferred
3 to 4 years experience preferred
Good driving record, up to date drivers license
Steel toe shoes required
Steel toe shoes required
Forklift/heavy equipment operation experience recommended
Preferred Qualifications:
DOT certification & Forklift certification must be obtained when starting the position.
