Temporary Request For IEI /Comm Assistance For The Role
Email Marketing Coordinator Role and Responsibilities:
- Develop segmentation, targeting and list management approaches to target current specific audience segments for critical recruiting and promotional purposes
- Design, create, review, edit, and execute email campaigns in Mailchimp and Slate CRM including newsletters, promotional emails, conference invitations and campaigns in support of IEI programs
- Create content based on ND/ IEI brand standards, edit, and manage distribution
- Analyze campaign results including open and click rates, and other performance analytics to make fact-based decisions on future planning to optimize performance
- Assist in the management of the marketing and communications email calendar
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Business, Graphic Design, Communications, or related field
- Experience with major email marketing service providers, like Mailchimp, Slate, etc.
- Understanding of email fundamentals and best practices: CAN - SPAM , list management, deliverability, segmentation, KPI’s, etc.
- Excellent copy writing skills, design sense and intuition for what will perform
- Basic understanding of HTML coding is preferred
- Intermediate-advanced Excel skills
- Analytical skills to assess results
- Excellent communication skills and collaborative work style
- Resourceful and results-driven; tenacity to get things done
- Attention to detail
- Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
