The Sleep Health Research Lab in the Department of Psychology at the University of Notre Dame is looking to hire a Research/Lab Coordinator. This person will assist with the execution of study protocols, including assisting with the preparation and submission of IRB protocols, screening and recruiting study participants, conducting study visits, and collecting, entering, and reviewing study data. Study protocols include the collection of sleep and health data via in-lab procedures (e.g., polysomnography, stress protocols), activity monitoring/wearables, self-report surveys, clinical interviews, and biospecimen collection (e.g., saliva or hair). Opportunities for conducting independent research projects also exist for motivated lab members. This position is ideal for someone who is planning on applying to PhD programs in Clinical Psychology, especially those with a dedicated interest in behavioral sleep medicine.
Qualifications:
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to work and communicate with diverse populations effectively and professionally. Ability to work independently as well as function as part of a team. Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word. Prior experience working or volunteering in a lab conducting human subjects research. Strong interpersonal skills. Flexible availability, including nights, to accommodate data collection with sleep participants. Strong planning and organization skills, with the ability to independently monitor and prioritize completion of multiple varied tasks.
