Job Description
As a member of the McGrath Institute for Church Life’s Communications team, the project manager will coordinate the successful completion of marketing and communications projects for a cross-functional team within the allotted timeline and budget. The successful candidate must possess superior project management skills, excellent communication skills, the ability to work on a team and manage complex projects across various departments. This individual will collaborate with internal stakeholders and strategic partners, be well-versed on ongoing advancements in project management, and be visually creative with good analytical, problem-solving, and relationship management skills.
This individual will lead projects from beginning to end, identifying schedules, scope, and budget. They will continually analyze project status and, when necessary, manage expectations and revise the scope of the project’s schedule or budget to ensure that requirements can be met on time and in alignment with the high quality standards of the Institute. These efforts will include eliminating potential roadblocks, identifying potential risks, and ensuring consistent and effective daily communication on project status and changes with stakeholders. The candidate will possess both an overall strategic view of the projects’ and the Institute’s goals, and an attention for detail. The role requires a proactive individual capable of thriving in a fast-paced work environment that is alternately autonomous and collaborative. Experience in higher education and/or an agency setting is preferred.

Bachelor’s degree
Preferred Qualifications
Highly organized and detail-oriented, strong relationship and oral/written communication skills, experience with GANTT charts and/or Basecamp (or similar project management platforms)
