The Department of German, Slavic, and Eurasian Studies at the University of Notre Dame (formerly Department of German and Russian Languages and Literatures) invites applications for a position as Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor of German. This is a one-year position, renewable for a second year. The primary focus of the position is on language teaching at the beginning and intermediate levels.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the Ph.D. in hand by August, have demonstrated excellence in undergraduate teaching, and have a background in second language acquisition and pedagogy. The teaching load will be three courses a semester. We are seeking an innovative teacher who will contribute to our vibrant department life.
