INTERNAL VACANCY
This vacancy is open to employees of the University of Nottingham only.
The Head of International Awards, Agents, and IELTS will lead key functions within the University, ensuring robust operational and strategic management of the international awards and funding, agent relations, and IELTS team. This role requires a strong strategic focus, analytical skills, and adept relationship management. The post holder will be pivotal in overseeing and refining the University's approach to international funding and awards, whilst also managing and handling international agent relations and the IELTS team.
The post holder will be responsible for managing, supporting and developing a team of staff based in the UK and building excellent relationships with key stakeholders with a direct aim to positively impact and contribute to the ambitious growth objectives of international student recruitment.
The role is a strategic position and will include developing a strategy for enhancing existing relationships with key international funders, as well as reviewing and evaluating our current sponsor and scholarship account management process to improve and enhance our profile in key markets.
Occasional overseas travel may form a part of this position and a flexible and co-operative approach to working patterns is required.
You will be highly motivated, organised and an excellent communicator who can demonstrate sound judgment under pressure. The post is offered on a fixed term basis until 1st September 2025. Your working hours will be full time (36.25 hours per week). Job share arrangements may be considered. Requests for secondment from internal candidates may be considered on the basis that prior agreement has been sought from both your current line manager and the manager of your substantive post, if you are already undertaking a secondment role.
