Job Description
The individual selected for this position will manage the OU College of Pharmacy, Nuclear Pharmacy in day-to-day operations, customer service, financial management and personnel management and will facilitate the advancement of nuclear pharmacy education, research, and service.
Duties :
- Oversees all operations of the nuclear pharmacy, including day-to-day operations
- Oversees all personnel, which includes recruiting, hiring, evaluating, disciplining, and dismissing
- Creates and informs staff of work schedules with assistance from support staff and approves leave requests.
- Manages administrative duties of administrative assistant
- Develops and maintains standard operating procedures for all activities in the nuclear pharmacy.
- Assumes primary responsibility for the financial health of pharmacy with support from Pharmacy management.
- Conducts staff meetings at least monthly to maintain involvement of staff
- Provides pharmacy staff with current information regarding operations and product handling
- Provides pharmacy staff with training, tools, and structure to perform duties effectively and efficiently
- Maintains pharmacy customer base and facilitate new contracts
- Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position
Job Requirements
Required education : Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. from an accredited institution AND :
Certifications / Licenses : Must be a licensed pharmacist by the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy and be NRC certified.
