Job Opportunity: RN - Long Term Care (Erie, PA)
Position: Immediately need an experienced RN - Long Term Care for the 6 months of the contract in Pennsylvania.

Title: RN - Long Term Care
Location: Erie
Duration: 6 months (Ongoing)
Shift: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM / 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM. 8 hours. 40 hours a week.
Pay rate: Lucrative pay Benefits Bonus.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 years of recent Dementia, Rehab, & Long Term Care experience.
- Active license in PA state.
- COVID Vaccinated.
- BLS / CPR Preferred.
Duties:
- Conduct physical examinations and assess patients' health status.
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed, ensuring accurate dosage and monitoring for side effects.
- Perform gastric lavage when necessary, adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide urgent care services, including triage and treatment of acute conditions.
- Assist in the operating room (OR) as needed, supporting surgical teams during procedures.
- Offer specialized care for infants and children, demonstrating knowledge of pediatric nursing practices.
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Epic for documentation and patient management.
- Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment plans, and medical equipment such as durable medical equipment (DME).
- Lift and transfer patients safely while maintaining their comfort and dignity.
Skills:
- Proficient in performing physical examinations and administering injections.
- Experience with urgent care settings is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with gastric lavage techniques is a plus.
- Knowledge of pediatric nursing practices, particularly in infant care.
- Ability to work effectively in an OR environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in patient documentation using Epic or similar systems.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams effectively.
