POSTDOCTORAL FELLOW POSITIONS to study basic and translational aspects of complement pathobiology and therapeutic intervention.
Several postdoctoral positions are available in the laboratory of John D. Lambris at the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia (www.lambris.com/) to study basic and translational aspects of complement.
Requirements: We are looking for highly motivated postdoctoral fellows with demonstrated ability to lead a research project and work independently. Interested candidates should have a Ph.D and/or MD degree, preferentially no more than 2 years postdoctoral experience, and strong background in immunology and complement biology. Expertise in cellular and molecular models of complement-mediated diseases (e.g. cancer, neurological and/or ocular diseases) as well as an excellent publication record are preferred.
