Job Description Summary
Open the library at 7:30am several weekdays per week during the academic year. PREFERRED DAYS: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. Approximately 20-25 hours per week. Provide back-up daytime, weekend and evening coverage on the Circulation Desk as needed. Assist full-time staff with a wide range of projects including loose-leaf filing, deaccessioning materials, book and microfilm scanning, retrieving requested materials from the stacks, processing interlibrary loan and Faculty Document Delivery requests, and producing student engagement materials. This is a temporary part-time position ending on June 30, 2023, but may be re-posted or possibly extended, if needed.

Responsibilities and Duties
Open the library at 7:30am several weekdays per week during the academic year.
Serve as back-up for full-time staff during weekday, weekend and evening circulation Desk coverage. Serve as back-up for interlibrary loan processing, course scanning and Faculty Document Delivery.
Loose-leaf filing; and book and microfilm scanning.
Assist librarians, archivist and full-time staff with special projects.
Assist the Engagement and Outreach Team with student engagement activities including producing pamphlets, signage and displays.
Assist with Stacks projects in both our open stacks (Biddle) and closed stacks (Lewis) including shelving, deaccessioning and moving materials.
Qualifications
High School Grad/GE Degree and 1 to 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Customer service experience.
