Customer Service Representative Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic Patient Services Representative to provide exceptional support to patients at UPMC Northwest.

Job Summary:

This is a full-time opportunity working various 8- and 10-hour shifts. As a Patient Services Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for patients and their families, providing personalized support and answering questions about hospital services.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to patient inquiries in a professional and compassionate manner
  • Provide accurate information about hospital services, including admission processes and patient rights
  • Assist with registration and scheduling processes as needed
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless communication and care coordination

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with medical terminology
