The University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing is seeking a qualified applicant for a full-time, tenure stream faculty in the Department of Health Promotion and Development at the rank of Assistant Professor.

Qualifications for this tenure-stream stream faculty positions include an earned research doctorate (Ph.D.), completion of postdoctoral training, can demonstrate potential for research productivity, and have a planned program of research that is in alignment with one or more of the research foci within the School of Nursing. The current research foci within the School of Nursing include Digital Health, Genomics, Cancer Survivorship, Aging and Gerontology, Sleep and Circadian Science, Health Services and Policy, Maternal/Perinatal and Reproductive Health, and Nursing Education. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Minimum Qualifications
Assistant Professor – A) An earned doctorate in nursing or a field related to the research foci within the School of Nursing is required. B) Evidence of or potential for a sustained and impactful program of research. C) Evidence of or potential for excellence in teaching and mentoring, and contributing to a learning environment that values inclusivity.
Desired Qualifications: Expertise in the field of cognitive impairment and dementia, including Alzheimer’s Disease, Epidemiological methodology, and experience with the mentorship of PhD students.
