Key Responsibilities Include
- Serve as the primary liaison between PAE and the Division of Student Affairs.
- Oversee all fundraising activities supporting Student Affairs, leveraging central resources and fostering collaboration.
- Partner closely with the Vice Provost of Student Affairs and other division leaders on development, alumni relations, and donor stewardship initiatives.
- Implement fundraising strategies by maintaining personal contact with prospects and involving relevant leadership, volunteers, and staff.
- Develop and execute strategies for qualification, cultivation, and solicitation of individual major gifts for the division.
- Ensure effective coordination of programs, projects, and activities by interacting with faculty, staff, development colleagues, volunteers, and external constituents.
- Research, write, edit, and oversee the preparation of persuasive solicitations, proposals, correspondence, and other development-related communications.
- Must be able to communicate with donors face to face, virtually, via email, and other communication avenues.
- Must be able to travel on occasion, navigate local and national cities via car, and navigate campus across different buildings.
- Must be able to carry/move materials--less than 25 pounds--within the office, to and from meetings across campus, and to and from meetings off campus, either locally or in other cities.
- Light - Little physical effort required.
- Duties are primarily sedentary.
- May be required to move objects up to 25 pounds occasionally.
