BASIC FUNCTION:
Provide administrative, coordination, and project management support for the Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Success in the Office of the Provost. Serve as a key liaison between the AVP and departments within the unit (Admission, Enrollment Services, University College, Winter J Term & Summer Sessions, Office of Strategic Initiatives, URI Online, Higgins Welcome Center & New Student Transitions) and with university stakeholders. Maintain a high degree of technical and office management skills, professionalism, customer service, confidentiality, and efficiency. Understand goals, priorities, and strategies related to assignments and assist the AVP and staff in successful implementation. Develop and implement project management strategies and systems to support overall unit productivity and function across all departments.

Duties and Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Effectively manage overall division calendar for events, communications and memos, outreach and project timelines to provide the most strategic and efficient use of time, including responding to routine and last-minute meeting requests, coordinating with other academic and administrative units, and being sensitive to the Associate Vice President’s priorities.
Coordinate new and existing merit scholarship processes. Analyze key data elements and combine both eCampus and SLATE data components. Ensure timely review, communication and collaboration with key partners.
Partner with key campus offices to design and implement yearly programs and services to support scholar success. Analyze scholar retention, performance and graduation data and create annual report for key stakeholders.
Coordinate ad hoc and complex reports, presentations, and information requests related to enrollment and student success. Gather data through various sources, including enrollment management systems, admission, institutional research and other sources. Benchmark nationally as needed.
Plan, organize, and support enrollment and student success events, including the yearly Academic Excellence Awards. Serve as main point of contact for nominees, nominators and University community.
Assist in tracking strategic goals and key performance indicators for the unit. Summarize and synthesize data for internal and external reporting purposes.
Coordinate enrollment and student success committees and ad-hoc groups.
Coordinate student and family concerns that come into the Provost Office and research issues/topics as needed.
Support key enrollment management and student success contracts from procurement through implementation. Maintain contracts and facilitate yearly payments.
Support the purchasing process including but not limited to handling good orders, travel and expense report support, and other tasks.
Handle information, draft, and process written materials of a sensitive and confidential nature.
Attend key admission and enrollment management events (often evening/weekends), coordinate office and senior leadership involvement as needed.
Serve as a team member of the AVP’s Office by assisting with all matters related to the office and ensuring coordinated, professional, and efficient operations.
Serve as a team member in the Office of the Provost, by assisting with all matters related to the administrative needs of the office and ensuring customer service and coordinated, professional, and efficient operations.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
