Applications are invited for a tenure-track position in Electrical Engineering at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning in Fall 2025.
Basic Function
The successful candidate will be expected to develop an externally funded research program, to interact with other faculty in our college, and to teach and develop undergraduate and graduate electrical engineering courses.

- Artificial intelligence/machine learning for electromagnetics/electronics/optics.
- Radio-frequency, mixed-signal analog and digital integrated circuits.
Qualifications
Required:
- An earned doctorate in Electrical Engineering or closely related field at the time of appointment.
- Demonstrated ability to teach electromagnetic fields at the undergraduate level.
- Demonstrated record of scholarly achievement in one or more areas of electromagnetics/electronics/optics as evidenced by publications, presentations, or projects.
- Demonstrated evidence working with diverse groups (not limited to race, ethnicity, and gender).
- Demonstrated proficiency in written communication skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in oral communication skills.
- Research applications of artificial intelligence/machine learning.
- Ability to develop an externally funded research program.
- Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams.
