Basic Function
Manage and coordinate admission events and strategies at the College of Pharmacy in collaboration with University Undergraduate Admission. Reporting directly to the Associate Dean of Student and Academic Affairs of the College of Pharmacy and working closely with the Director of Recruitment and Engagement and URI Office of Admission, ensure alignment with university calendars and strategic recruitment goals. Engage in event planning and higher education recruitment strategies and enhance program growth.
Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Coordinate all College of Pharmacy admission events including Pharmacy open houses, information sessions, shadow events, and building tours.
Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract prospective students to the College of Pharmacy.
Manage Pharmacy admission materials and communications, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, in collaboration with the URI Office of Admission.
Utilize data and analytics, in conjunction with the URI Office of Admission, to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Cultivate relationships with prospective students, applicants, and admitted students to facilitate a positive admission experience supplemental to what is provided by the University.
Develop and manage targeted College of Pharmacy social media platforms to enhance outreach efforts, engage prospective students, and support overall admission goals by promoting the College of Pharmacy’s programs and events.
Serve as a resource for prospective students and applicants, providing information about the College of Pharmacy and its programs.
Stay informed about trends and best practices in admission and higher education recruitment.
Work closely with students from within the College of Pharmacy to engage them in events and other recruitment-related activities.
Other Duties And Responsibilities
Perform other duties as assigned.
Licenses, Tools, And Equipment
Personal computers, printers, word processing, spreadsheet software. Social media platforms. Microsoft 365.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or related field.
- Minimum of five years of business experience in an executive support role.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex schedules and prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
- Demonstrated organizational skills.
- Demonstrated strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- Demonstrated experience in Microsoft 365 and other relevant software applications.
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups/populations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in higher education, marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of business experience in an executive support role in an academic and/or corporate setting.
- Demonstrated experience in admission or student recruitment within a pharmacy or healthcare education setting.
- Demonstrated experience utilizing social media strategies to support recruitment and admission initiatives.
- Demonstrated familiarity with data analytics tools to evaluate and optimize recruitment efforts.
- Demonstrated networking and relationship-building skills with prospective students and external partners.
