JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Work within University brand guidelines to produce videos for the University's communication channels utilizing :
effective storytelling techniques

Knowledge, skills, and ability :
Strong knowledge and experience with video editing software, including Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, and Avid Media ComposerProficient in the use of animation and graphic software including Adobe After Effects and the Adobe Creative SuiteUnderstanding of color grading, audio mixing, and video output formatsA keen eye, attention to detail, and artistic abilityAbility to work from storyboardsAbility to manage multiple projects from concept to final delivery by meeting deadlinesExceptional communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills that allow collaboration across teamsExcellent time management skillsCritical thinking and creative problem-solving talentsProven experience in video production, scripting, and lighting is preferred.EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :
A bachelor's degree in film production, media studies, communications, or equivalentA minimum of three years of proven experience as a video editorPortfolio requiredWORK HOURS :
Full-time; non-exemptMonday-Friday 8 : 30am-5 : 00pm; 7.75 / hrs. day; 38.75 hrs. week; flexibility required to include weekends and evenings.SALARY GRADE :
