This role, officially known as Outpatient Access Representative II (OAR), provides a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience while supporting ambulatory care services in the Geneseo community.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a Warm Welcome: Greet and assist patients, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
- Assist with Registration: Handle patient registration, appointment scheduling, and insurance verification.
- Maintain Accuracy: Keep patient records up to date in our electronic medical system (EMR).
- Manage Communication: Respond to calls, schedule follow-ups, and process referrals efficiently.
- Ensure Confidentiality: Maintain patient privacy and adhere to HIPAA standards at all times.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Experience: 1 year of clerical or customer service experience (a great starting point for a healthcare career!).
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, organization, and data entry accuracy.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills and a focus on providing outstanding customer service.
- Team-Oriented: Ability to work independently while contributing to a fast-paced team environment.
