Entry-Level Patient Access Representative – Monroe County & Surrounding Areas

This role, officially known as Outpatient Access Representative II (OAR), provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience while supporting ambulatory care services across Monroe County and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide welcoming support to patients by greeting them and ensuring a smooth, positive experience
- Assist with patient registration, appointment scheduling, and insurance verification
- Maintain accurate patient records in our electronic medical system (EMR)
- Handle phone inquiries, schedule follow-ups, and process referrals efficiently
- Ensure patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards at all times
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year of clerical or customer service experience (ideal for candidates looking to step into healthcare!)
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and data entry accuracy
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
- A team-oriented mindset and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
