Key Responsibilities:
- Expertly manages medication coordination and financial assistance options, ensuring patients receive their specialty medications without any barriers.
- Be a knowledgeable and resourceful advocate for patients, skilled in enrolling them in specialty pharmacy programs and scheduling prescription deliveries to ensure medication adherence.
- With a keen understanding of prior authorization forms and payor policies, the MAS tenaciously advocates for authorization approvals and serves as a valuable resource on patient assistance programs and social services.
- Be dedicated to providing exceptional patient care, consistently achieving high levels of patient and provider satisfaction, reporting errors, and facilitating training for new team members.
Qualifications:
Healthcare or pharmacy experience preferred but not required. Must meet one of the following:
- Associate’s Degree in a medical, administrative, or related field with 3 years of relevant experience.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with 3 years of relevant experience.
- Five years of relevant experience in a medical or pharmacy setting.
