Responsibilities
GENERAL PURPOSE:
Under the direction of leadership, is accountable for provision of competent direct patient care based on established standards. Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level. Supports peers in the delivery of patient care services and assumes an expanded role which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.
FT Position Monday-Friday, No Weekends/Holidays
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, experienced RN to join our innovative team while maintaining your IV and critical thinking skills in an ambulatory setting. If you have a strong interest in cardiology and are looking to be a part of a fast-paced clinic caring for patients in a variety of roles, this is the position for you. Our nurses rely on their strong assessment and critical thinking skills when caring for patients in the office and via telephone triage. They collaborate with all members of the care team to provide the highest quality and comprehensive care. This applicant will receive individualized training in telephone triage and heart failure management. Our patient population currently includes clinical cardiology, heart failure, advanced heart failure, VAD, pre/pot heart transplant, and structural heart patients. This position includes participation in unit/service activities, strong teamwork, and flexibility. We are located on the ground floor of the ambulatory tower.
