$70,197.00 - $105,295.00The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
Responsibilities:
GENERAL PURPOSE:The Clinical Informaticist II integrates clinical knowledge with informatics to design, implement, and sustain clinical information systems. With a strong ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, the Clinical Informaticist II works to ensure that technology solutions meet the needs of clinical staff and improve patient care. They collect, analyze, and disseminates data to enable clinical staff to assess the environment. Works with team to forecast trends. Researches initiatives and collaborates with stakeholders and subject matter experts to support department projects. Integrates clinical science, computer science and information science to manage and communicate data, information, and knowledge.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Actively participates in the design and implementation of clinical informatics solutions. Works with stakeholders to understand user workflows and inform system design.
- Advocates for the needs and perspectives of clinical staff in technology-related projects. Serves as liaison between clinical staff, IT, and informatics teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Develops and delivers training programs for clinical staff on the use of clinical information systems. Provides ongoing support and sustainment of those systems.
- Facilitates data acquisition to support program and project evaluations. Uses data to identify trends, measure performance, and inform decision-making.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Must hold a valid professional license in a healthcare profession upon hire required
- 3 years of relevant experience required
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Proficiency in EHR systems and a strong understanding of clinical workflows required
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills required
- Certification in Clinical Informatics (or ability to obtain within a designated timeframe) preferred
