Responsibilities
GENERAL SUMMARY
Supports employee activities and programs that focus on staffing, compensation, benefits, training and safety. Answers employee questions about human resources policies and procedures. May participate in projects for the human resource department. Supports employee questions/needs within employee compensation, training and benefit programs.
Essential Functions
- Manages front-end employee operations for department. Supports operations team, including hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, coaching, performance evaluation, goal setting, and payroll approvals. Oversees administrative procedures as needed
- Works directly with hiring manager on creating job requisitions, scheduling interviews, ongoing communication with leadership and the candidate. Coordinates the onboarding process, including orientation sessions and training schedules.
- Investigates and analyzes data and information to develop systems and procedures for front-end operations to methodically align expectations, training, workflows.
- Assists department leadership with coordination, planning, and execution of tasks and events. Meets with and schedules instructors/speakers, sends invitations to staff, and manages training session day of.
- Supports HR Business Partners in addressing employee inquiries and concerns.
- Captures attendance reports of events and uploads attendance to relevant system. Runs various reports using HRIS tools for salary and demographic reports, including special projects.
Minimum Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree and 1 year of relevant experience required
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills required
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite required
