Description:
Provides clerical, receptionist and customer service on patient care units while maintaining confidentiality.
Responsibilities
Under direct supervision of Nurse Manager or designee, assembles and maintains patient records, processes orders, and performs skilled receptionist duties. Facilitates unit operations through communications with all hospital departments, and greets patients, families, and all health care team members.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED (Required)
REQUIRED: High School education and one year of clerical experience with demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, ability to word process documents and enter data into a database. Demonstrated skills related to achievement of customer satisfaction, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrates the ICARE values to patient, families and staff. Ability to act as a resource to less experienced staff.
PREFERRED: Knowledge of medical terminology and typing or data entry experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
