POSITION TITLE : Game Development Adjunct
DEPARTMENT : Division of Communication, Animation and Technology
POSITION STATUS : Adjunct
POSITION REPORTS TO : Program Director
JOB SUMMARY : Instructor is responsible for teaching students the techniques and pipelines within the Video Game field. Instructor will deliver course materials twice weekly to the class at the defined course time. Courses vary from game engine programming, game development, and game theory.
Major Responsibilities / Activities :
- Teach course content during the scheduled course time (typically 2.5 hours per week)
- Grade student projects and assignments in a timely manner (typically 1-3 hours per week)
- Constructively critique student work for improvement.
- Provide students with additional learning materials and opportunities.
- Teach to the program outcomes.
- Teach to an agreed upon syllabus with the Program Director.
