The University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana invites applications for a full-time, tenure track position in our Department of Math and Physical Sciences beginning August 15th, 2025. The position requires a specialization in Physics with experience, success, and interest in offering introduction to physics courses as well as other physical science courses. The teaching load is 12 credit hours per semester (fall and spring). Other responsibilities include preparation of corresponding laboratory sections, supporting the program curricular initiatives, continuing professional development;1 and a commitment to collaboration and service within the Division, across the University and in the community. The successful candidate must be able to advance the Catholic and Franciscan Mission of the University. Rank and salary are dependent upon the appointee’s qualifications and experience. A candidate with a master’s degree in physics or a closely related degree is required while a Ph.D. is preferred for this position.
