POSITION SUMMARY :
KLC Peer Tutors assist students with reading comprehension, math, writing, research skills, and / or concepts key to the field in which the student-employee tutors (English, math, science, theology, history, etc.).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Assist students with reading comprehension, math, writing, research skills, and / or concepts key to the field in which the student-employee tutors (English, math, science, theology, history, drawing etc.)
- Participate in tutor training sessions offered by the Keleher Learning Commons
- Adhere to Keleher Learning Commons Code of Ethics
- Develop and conduct presentations and skill shops on academic success related topics
- Maintain accurate records of all tutoring sessions
- Comply with deadlines for items such as time cards
- Complete the Federal Work Study orientation
- Perform additional duties as assigned
