Department Nursing Job Purpose
The University of Scranton Department of Nursing invites applications for a full-time, 12-month, non-tenure track Faculty Specialist position in Nurse Anesthesia starting in August, 2025. This is an in-person, on site position; regular on-campus presence is required. Teaching and service are required. The Department of Nursing is strongly committed to excellence; the Department’s Nurse Anesthesia graduates are recognized for being ready to deliver high-quality, evidence-based, holistic, person-centered care across many settings. Responsibilities include didactic and clinical teaching, along with administrative tasks and clinical director responsibilities. The Department of Nursing offers a welcoming work atmosphere.
Essential Duties
Applicants must be licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, hold certification as a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), and have evidence of formal instruction in curriculum, evaluation, and instruction.
