Responsibilities
● Coordinate patient access activities, such as registration, billing, and scheduling
● Serve as the information Center for staff, physicians and community. Answer and route questions.
● Assist management in establishing and implementing goals for the department
● Identify process improvement opportunities in all Areas of Patient Access and offer recommendations to management.
● Analyze Financial data and determine documents needed.
● Perform quality audits for accuracy and report findings to supervisor and/ or management.
● Responsible for running various reports for management review and distribution as directed
● Collect, coordinate, update, prepare and maintain various types of data for assigned area(s): logs, graphs, spreadsheets, statistics, productivity, budget information, policies, procedures, and presentations
● Coordinate and assist management in processing contracts with outside vendors, business associate agreements, security acknowledgements and similar contractual agreements and documentation.
● Assist in other responsibilities as needed.
● Collaborate on various departmental projects and pilots with management and clinicians.
● Building partnerships and working collaboratively with all areas of the patient revenue side, and clinical and administrative teams to meet shared objectives and goals.
● Ability to work with multiple lines of leadership

Related duties as required
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent and three years of experience supporting hospital staff. Experience with Microsoft office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word) required. Three years of experience supporting a Manager or Director in a hospital setting is preferred. Medical Terminology knowledge is preferred. Knowledge of revenue cycle, patient access, and patient registration systems is preferred. Ability to record and transcribe meeting minutes is preferred.
