We offer patients convenient access to innovative treatments and advancements that improve the health and overall wellbeing of our community.Responsibilities Coordinates all activities related to the new project (Partnering to Improve Population Care) at the assigned station which requires both clerical skills and basic knowledge of outpatient care; troubleshoots the equipment necessary for on-site education and Tele-medicine; serves as a resource in the delivery of care via Tele-medicine; develops a working knowledge of the medical education process; assists in clinical care of patients utilizing general knowledge of nursing care, and medical terminology; may be involved in serving as an interpreter; assists with billing and scheduling; regular and prompt attendance; ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required; performs related duties as required.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited institution as approved and accepted by the University of South Alabama. Directly related experience in a healthcare setting is preferred and will substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required education. Certified Medical Assistant and / or front desk experience in a medical / health office is preferred.
