Essential Functions
- Prepares correspondence, course materials, reports, and other documents using a PC.
- Maintains departmental files and maintains databases using MS Excel.
- Takes minutes at meetings and prepares for final distribution.
- Answers questions concerning departmental policies and procedures.
- Maintains supervisor’s calendar.
- Makes travel arrangements and prepares travel reimbursement forms.
- Utilizes the Banner Finance and Student Records Systems to access department and student information.
- Assists in the student advising process to include notifying students via email of upcoming advising dates.
- Advises students regarding enrollment policies and procedures.
- Greets and routes visitors.
- Answers telephone and directs calls.
- Opens and distributes mail.
- Orders equipment and supplies.
- Prepares requisitions and purchase orders.
- Regular and prompt attendance.
- Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required.
- Related duties as required.
