What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trades Specialist position at University of South Carolina Lancaster?
The Trades Specialist assist in repair and maintenance of heating/air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical maintenance, vehicle maintenance, and seasonal yard maintenance. Assist in set-ups for special events, painting offices, classrooms, and other surfaces of buildings.
A successful applicant will typically hold a high school diploma or GED. No prior work experience is required.
Basic knowledge of equipment used in maintaining buildings, vehicles, and general knowledge in use of servicing yard equipment is needed. Painting skills are also required.
The standard work schedule will be Monday - Friday from 7:00am - 3:30pm. .
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the department.
