This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing portfolio of research and scholarly activities by promoting and supporting external funding efforts across the College of Arts and Sciences. The Pre-Award Grants Manager supports the pursuit of external funding opportunities by assisting faculty, administrators, and staff in identifying, monitoring and disseminating new funding opportunities, preparing proposals, and ensuring compliance with sponsor guidelines and institutional policies.
Job Related Minimum Required Education And Experience
Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 4 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with grant submission systems such as Grants.gov, NSF Research.gov, or NIH Assist. Certified Research Administrator designation or willingness to sit for exam within one year of hire.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Knowledge and experience in proposal development. Strong project management skills, including the capacity to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and coordinate multiple stakeholders. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work under tight deadlines. Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
