Position Description

Advertised Job Summary

Research Specialist needed to support research required by NIH grants. Conducting longitudinal assessments with infants and young children and complete complementary pre and post assessment processing.

Job Related Minimum Required Education And Experience

Requires a bachelor’s degree in area of research specialty.

Preferred Qualifications

Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials Preferred Qualifications

Experience conducting research or direct experience working with infants or young children with neurodevelopmental disorders.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Candidates must have excellent oral communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work with children. They must also be able to work independently and participate in a team. They must conduct business lawfully and ethically by consistently adhering to compliance policies, procedures, and regulations.

Work with the Faculty Principal Investigator and grant staff to assist with NIH-funded research by conducting assessments on early development in high-risk groups of infants and toddlers.

Conduct longitudinal assessments with infants and young children completing complementary pre and post assessment processing. Travel across the state if South Carolina is required to conduct assessments.
