The Administrative Coordinator for the Graduate Program in Nurse Anesthesia at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine will coordinate personnel, fiscal, and support service
management and oversight for the program, plus serve as primary administrative liaison for all affiliated clinical training sites utilized by the Program (currently 20). The program consists of seven clinical faculty, plus affiliated faculty in the Department of Pharmacology, Physiology & Neuroscience.
Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience
Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 4 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials
Preferred Qualifications
10 plus years of business management experience with appropriate skills
Knowledge of student services, fiscal, and personnel procedures, policies and practices.
Experience with USC practices and procedures related to student services, fiscal management, and human resource management, including knowledge of Banner and PeopleSoft preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Proficient with MS-Word, MS-PowerPoint, MS Access, MS-Excel, Blackboard, Exam Soft or other computerized testing, IMS, ITAMS, on-line applications, Document Imaging System, Office Automation, data base management. Ability to coordinate diverse administrative functions and establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, faculty and students. Required to conduct business lawfully and ethically by consistently adhering to compliance policies, procedures and regulations.

Serves as the point of contact for the Graduate School, and provides information for applicants as needed. Manages the screening and logistical aspects of the program’s admissions process.
