Event Coordinator

The Coordinator of Events is responsible for assisting in the planning and execution of events and training in the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs. This role ensures programs and events are marketed and advertised to maximize outreach and engagement, and event details organized to ensure success of the department’s initiatives and programs.
Day to Day for this position:
- Event planning and execution, ensure event details are organized for successful implementation
- Develop and execute marketing and advertising strategies to maximize outreach and engagement
- Manage event logistics, including scheduling, venue booking
- Maintain accurate programming records

Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience
Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 2 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
