Head Women’s Basketball Coach, USCA Athletics
The University of South Carolina Aiken, an NCAA Division II Institution and member of the Peach Belt Conference, is seeking a Head Women’s Basketball Coach. The Head Women’s Basketball Coach is responsible for providing coaching expertise, leadership, management, rules compliance and administration of all aspects of a competitive NCAA Division II program resulting in a positive and beneficial intercollegiate experience for student-athletes. Other related duties as assigned by supervisor. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and 5 or more years of experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of certification, training, education, and/or experience. Preferred: Master’s degree; Minimum five years of collegiate coaching experience. Experience in NCAA DI or DII and recruiting experience in southeast region. This is a 12.0 month full-time position. Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 5 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.

Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree. Minimum five years of collegiate coaching experience. Experience in NCAA DI or DII and recruiting experience in southeast region.

Demonstrated knowledge of sport rules and regulations as well as NCAA rules and regulations. Proven ability to recruit and retain student athletes. Demonstrated administrative skills in a university athletic setting. Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills. Professional and personal integrity.

Conduct all aspects of the program within the rules, regulations, compliance and procedures of the NCAA, Peach Belt Conference, Department of Athletics policy manual and the University’s processes and procedures. Knowledge and understanding of all eligibility and recruiting requirements for NCAA, PBC and USCA admissions standards. Maintain accountability for scholarship limits. Manage all recruiting efforts and make scholarship recommendations.
