Advertised Job Summary
The School of Accounting in the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina is seeking to fill a clinical professor position at the assistant or associate level beginning August 16, 2025. Preference is for an instructor who has taught tech-heavy accounting courses and can help the School remain current with technology changes in accounting. Teaching loads are competitive with other top-level accounting positions. All faculty searches are subject to the availability of funding.
Required Education and Experience
The position requires a PhD in accounting or a DBA. Beyond the terminal degree, candidates for the assistant rank must have a strong interest in teaching and service to the profession. Candidates for the Associate rank must have at least 5 years of experience teaching Accounting at a peer or similar university with a strong record of teaching and some combination of research and service.
