Coordinate academic record rebuild activities to ensure transcript rebuild requests and readmit rebuild requests are completed in order of priority. Coordinates the processing of citizenship verifications, name changes, SSN updates, and curriculum changes. Monitors resource account(s) for the Office of the Registrar. Processes graduation application updates, degree approvals, and other graduation-related requests as needed.
Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience
Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and no prior work experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in student records and Banner Student Information System. A working knowledge or ability to learn of USC academic policies and procedures.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Excellent and accurate data entry and average typing speed. Proficiency using Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Pro. Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy. Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to read, research and interpret academic, institutional and departmental information, policies, and procedures.

Coordinate academic record rebuild activities to ensure transcript rebuild requests and readmit rebuild requests are completed in order of priority. Performs manual data entry to assist with converting academic data from the Legacy Student Information System to the current Banner Student Information System. Verifies the accuracy of curriculum, courses, final grades, institutional and/or transfer credits, GPA calculations, course titles, term enrollment, academic standing, comments, and degrees upon record rebuild completion. Adds daily TA holds to ensure legacy records are accurate and complete prior to being released. Conducts confidential investigations and complex special assignments related to incomplete (unaudited or partial) academic records and student personal data discrepancies.
