Strategic Financial Management Coordinator
We are looking for a talented Strategic Financial Management Coordinator to join our team at the University of South Dakota. This individual will be responsible for participating as a partner to university departments and serving as a resource for strategic decision making within Financial Affairs.
The role involves supporting the AVP and Director of Budget in forecasting and managing rolling financials across multiple departments. It serves as the primary point of contact for financial forecasting and analysis within Financial Affairs and oversees the development and execution of budget requests and operating budget processes.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field and have experience with BOR, USD, or other higher education institutions' budgeting processes. Knowledge of fund accounting is preferred.
This coordinator will contribute to central budget office functions, including year-end processes, salary policy analysis, and related tasks. They will also be responsible for directing the preparation of financial statements for complex business entities within the university and ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
