What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Transporter - Imaging - Full Time 8 Hour Nights (Fixed Term) position at University of Southern California?
The Patient Transporter provides patient transport services between USC VHH Imaging Department and patient care areas associated with USC Verdugo Hills Hospital. The Patient Transporter may also move equipment and supplies throughout the Imaging Departments and patient care areas as well as directing visitors and guests throughout the hospital. Applies good verbal and non-verbal skills to achieve service goals of patient satisfaction and a positive work environment.
Minimum Education:
High School or equivalent
Minimum Skills:
Knowledge of Medical terminology
Previous experience with computer systems
Must have excellent communication skills, including the ability to speak, read and write English proficiently
Organization/time management skills
Required Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association
Preferred Experience:
1 year Patient Transporter or Nursing Assistant

The hourly rate range for this position is $21.00 to $27.00.
