Position Details
Information Technology and Security, Media Services, at The University of Tampa has an opening for a Media Services AV Technician This position will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of electronic classrooms on the campus, as well as training and supervising student Help Desk employees. This position will also assist with Special Events on campus when needed. This position reports to the Assistant Director of User Services, which is part of Information Technology Operations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, repair, and oversee repairs of AV electronic classroom equipment.
- Assist the Help Desk with classroom equipment calls and problems.
- Recording and streaming of university events as needed.
- Video post-production. You may be required to edit and produce a finished video of some events using Adobe Premiere Production Suite and Apple I-MAC computers.
- Set up and operate Audio Visual equipment to implement educational programs, including seminars, special presentations, and programs in the different college venues.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Contribute to a work environment that encourages knowledge of, respect for, and development of skills to engage with those of other cultures and backgrounds.

Flexible on weekends, required One Sunday a month for Open House.
