Job Summary : The Director of Student Engagement will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and facilitating student-focused programming and the implicit social work curriculum. This role works closely with the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs to support School of Social Work students through programming, trainings, and events designed to enhance student development, engagement, involvement, and a sense of belonging.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Serves as the primary advisor to student organizations and student senate members.
Serve on relevant committees to support programming efforts that align with Student Affairs priorities.
Plan, direct, and coordinate major student engagement events including ceremonies celebrating graduating students.
Manage the Student Engagement budget effectively, ensuring appropriate allocation and utilization of resources.
