Job Summary	Manages overall operations of the School's advising team. Manages a caseload of students in advising. Manages School's event coordination such as new student orientations. Serves as a primary contact point for the School's advising. Manages the school's advising team and delegates duties. Assists advisors in problem-solving complex student situations. Consult and coordinate with other Advising Directors to streamline student services. Assists in standardizing the School's advising practices to University standards. Assists in ensuring FERPA standards and documentation of practices. Serves on the School's leadership team as needed for marketing, recruitment, and planning. Assists in ensuring the integrity of the School's degree plan, catalog, and graduation audit. Serves as a point of contact to help coordinate leave and vacation coverage. Attends weekly advising director meetings to ensure University-wide coordination.
Minimum Education and Experience	Bachelor's degree in counseling or a related field and 8 years experience working with college students in an academic counseling or advising capacity; or Master's degree & six years' experience as described above.

Assists in ensuring the school's degree plan, catalog, and graduation audit integrity. Serves as a contact and helps coordinate leave and vacation coverage. Attends weekly advising director meetings to ensure University-wide coordination.
