Job Summary | The Callier Center for Communication Disorders is seeking an audiologist who is looking to join a team of 9 audiologists and 3 licensed audiologists to operate at the top of their scope of practice and provide best-practice research-based audiological care in a non-profit nationally recognized clinic. The Callier Center has a mission of treatment, training, and research and for over 60 years we have been improving the lives of patients who suffer from hearing loss and communication disorders. In 2024, the audiology team saw over 4800 appointments and we are continuing to grow and looking for a new member to join this team! In addition, the Callier Center for Communication Disorders is part of the University of Texas at Dallas, which is the home of the 3rd ranked Doctor of Audiology program in the nation! The audiologist who joins this team will have the opportunity to train the next generation of audiologists while enjoying individualized schedules with longer appointment times to provide the best practice care and follow-up that your patients need. In addition, without physicians on staff, the audiologists at the Callier Center are the primary point of care and operate at the top of licensure and scope of practice! The Master Clinician Audiologist's scope of practice for this open position will include: The performance of diagnostic and therapeutic audiological services on patients school-aged to adults who have or wish to rule out hearing loss as the source of their communication disorders. This would include diagnostic audiological evaluations, hearing aid dispensing, and fitting of assistive technology when appropriate. The performance of diagnostic vestibular evaluations on an adult patient population to include VNG, CVEMP, OVEMP, rotary chair, VHIT, and GANS SOPT who wish to rule out peripheral vestibulopathy as the source of imbalance. Minimum Education and Experience | Master's degree in Audiology. Certification by American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. License holder or qualified to obtain license to practice Audiology in the State of Texas within 60 days of employment. |

Must be licensed (or eligible for license) to practice audiology in the state of Texas and be certified by either the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association or the American Board of Audiology by June 1, 2025.
