Job Summary
Position is available for a candidate with strong background in metabolic imaging, microscopy, image processing or related field. The candidate will investigate spatial organization of embryos in close collaboration with molecular experimental colleagues, developing and devising a new platform to integrate single cell profiling data as well as imaging profiles. The successful candidate will lead imaging/computational projects, participate in research on the metabolic processes that underlie immune cell function and regulation, uncover conserved or divergent metabolic pathways that underlying immune system development and function across species. The candidate will also contribute to the supervision of students, providing an ideal opportunity to develop an independent scientific career.
Minimum Education and Experience
A minimum of a PhD in a field directly related to research and a minimum of two years of experience/expertise as noted below.
Preferred Education and Experience
PhD in Bioengineering, Biophysics or a related discipline with more than 3 years' experience specific to fluorescent imaging or metabolic imaging. Ability to lead and direct teams of researchers including undergraduate, graduate students and postdoctoral researchers. This position will require strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
