| Job Summary | The Linux Enterprise Engineer III is an advanced-level technical position responsible for providing departmental or campus-wide support to ensure optimum performance and connectivity of IT systems. This includes hardware, software, databases, storage, and network components in on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments. The role involves leading the troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues, as well as the design and implementation of new systems and services. The Linux Enterprise Engineer III will also manage projects, provide mentorship to junior engineers, and collaborate with other departments to ensure the successful deployment of new systems and services. Tools used include bash, vi, git, openssl, Terraform, and advanced networking and security tools. |
