Level II Duties:
- Provide information technology systems support for computer applications or network infrastructure to include analyzing, diagnosing, maintaining, upgrading, migrating, and troubleshooting assigned system areas such as source documents, hardware requirements, operating systems, database systems/structures, and servers.
- Follow, maintain, investigate, enforce, and implement internal control, network security and other security systems for computer and telecommunication data, systems and hardware protection including drafting security procedures, standards, and policies.
- Provide technical expertise to faculty, staff, and students to include providing user assistance and training.
- Provide continual support and researching new software and technologies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Periodic:
- Present systems studies to user personnel.
- Assists in training lower classified analyst personnel.
Level III Duties:
- Provides the primary interface between user department management in the development and improvement of information systems to include performing system studies, studying systems interactions, analyzing business requirements and design system specifications, producing programs and systems, analyzing problems and creating tools for solutions.
- Tracks the development of information systems and reports the progress to management.
- Installs/Maintains/Upgrades computing facilities, infrastructure, hardware, and software including operating systems and server applications.
- Provide technical expertise to faculty, staff, and students to include providing user assistance and training.
- Provide continual support to include ensuring data integrity; performing cost analysis, maintain, backup, restore, and secure critical systems; maintain a secure environment, and preparing and executing test plans.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Provides training to other classified analysts and data processing personnel.
Required Qualifications
Level II/III:
- Associate's degree in a related field.
- Knowledge of the capabilities of medium size computer systems.
Level II:
- Two years of experience in analysis and systems design.
Level III:
- Three years of experience in analysis, systems design or programming.
Preferred Qualifications
Level II/III:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Microsoft Certification.
- Experience with specific computers in use at the university.
Level II:
- Three or more years of experience in analysis or systems design.
Level III:
- Four or more years of experience in analysis, systems design, or programming including two years in a supervisory capacity.
